Marketing Resources For Manufacturers

Meet Jo, Our New Digital Marketing Manager

Written by Alex Elborn | 04 Feb 2020

Jo recently joined the Intergage team as a Senior Digital Marketing Manager. He has years of digital marketing experience, has previously worked with the HubSpot platform and knows the Intergage CMS like the back of his hand!

Jo was actually a member of the Intergage team back in 2008 so who better to join the team than someone who already knows us and our clients?!

I sat down and asked Jo some questions so you can get to know him better.

What is your role at Intergage?

Senior Digital Marketing Manager. In English, that means that I consult and work with our clients to achieve ROI and their most ambitious business goals through digital marketing. Right now, I'm helping several great businesses with their inbound marketing in HubSpot to establish sustainable and scalable success. I love it!

If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?

I have, and I call it my journal(s).

What’s your guilty pleasure?

I don't feel guilty about most of mine, but I do like some pretty dodgy pop music (blame my wife!) and the TV series Nashville from a few years ago.

What is the most precious thing you own?

My coffee mug that has my son's hand prints on, followed by my Fender Telecaster (guitar).

Do you have any superstitions?

Not really. I believe that you make your own luck (mostly).

Who is the most famous person you've met and where were you?

I met a lot of the All Blacks team after they won the Bledisloe Cup in New Zealand in 2010. I also was surfing the same break as Andy Irons (pro surfer, now sadly dead) in Australia, but didn't get to chat with him as he was being filmed.

What's your favourite thing to watch on TV?

Taskmaster. Comedies and thrillers are my favourites.

Do you have any hidden talents?

If I told you, they wouldn't be hidden anymore.

What’s your favourite blog?

I used to read many blogs, but follow more channels/people on YouTube and Instagram now. I love reading books though. The blogs I used to read the most were guitar ones, but I also like the Headspace blog (meditation) and a psychology one which I can't remember the name of. I follow lots for digital marketing!
